SIMPLE MICELLAR WATER | REVIEW

Assalamualaikum and hello again!

Have you heard of Micellar water? Micellar water ni best kot for light makeup and it's really suitable for lazy bums (like me haha!) and works great for sensitive and dry skin.

||   MICELLAR WATER         

"Micellar water is made up of micelles (tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules) suspended in soft water"- google. 

It's basically a make up remover + facial cleanser + moisturizer all in one! The best part is you don't need to wash your face after you use it. You can directly go to sleep after cleansing your face with micellar water- which is why I said it's perfect for lazy bums.  As for me, I still wash my face afterwards because it has become a habit of mine hehe

However,

It can't perfectly move heavy makeup, e.g: liquid eyeliner. You need to use makeup remover for heavier makeup but if you don't mind doing some work, you can damp the cotton pad and hold it on your eyes for few minutes before wiping it off, and repeat the same steps until the makeup is fully removed.

Well, I agree! This is my first time trying micellar water and I waited until I've used half bottle of it to make review, since I really wanna test it out. And it's perfect. I don't do heavy make up, and my skin is a dry type. This doesn't make my skin condition worst and in fact, it does moisturized my skin!

||   HOW TO USE          

Just like makeup remover, you:

i. Apply a generous amount to cotton pad

ii. wipe the cotton pad all around your face. Don't rub it too harsh, be gentle! 

iii. Use both side of your cotton pads, jangan membazir hihi

no need to wash your face afterwards! (nak basuh pon tak ada masalah tapi tak basuh pon no problemo~)

#HNTips : For travel / outing days, or if you wanna remove your make up for Wudhu' and don't wanna take this big bottle out, buy a ziplock bag (daiso sell lots of 'em), soak your cotton pad with micellar water in it. No need to bring the bottle out or buy make up remover tissue - jimat! For office use, I put them in small container since it's easier to use and store! (and cuter compared to ziplock bags haha)

|| MY REVIEW          

Pros :
- Water-like texture, not oily
- Removes light makeup effectively
- No distinct scent, but it does smells fresh
- suitable for dry and sensitive skin
- no need to wash afterwards, but still doesn't leave my skin dry!
- Moisturizing
- Protect your skin moisture barrier
- doesn't sting my skin

Cons :
doesn't remove heavy makeup effectively, if doesn't apply for long

(It requires more time than normal makeup remover)

Will I re-purchase?
Definitely!

Will I recommend this to my friends?Yes and yes especially for those with dry skin type like me!
