SKIN1004 MADAGASCAR CENTELLA ASIATICA AMPOULE | REVIEW

Assalamualaikum, hi everyone!

So, as promised, here's a separate review on Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Ampoule!

It took me quite some time because I really wanna test and see the result and shoot new photos because I don't want the same photo being used as thumbnail for my new post 😂😂😂 Cerewet much.



So, back to the review!

||     CENTELLA ASIATICA AMPOULE          

I honestly love, love this ampoule. But first, what is an ampoule?

Ampoule is actually almost the same as essences and serums. ALMOST. An ampoule is a supercharged serum, and it has higher concentrations of active ingredients- used as a booster or when you're having a skin problems. It usually comes in a bottle with droppers. 

I don't usually use ampoule because since it's "supercharged serum", with "higher concentration of active ingredients", it's not surprising that they're pricier than other basic skincare. HAHAH .Okay, not that pricey la lebih kurang je dengan harga other serum but I don't even have any serums hahaha! (okay, I have few samples la but I didn't buy that haha~)

But this one I got as a giveaway present from Hermo. And I'm sure as hell would buy another one when this one finishes.

This ampoule is actually quite reasonable in price (I'd like to say, cheap!) because it comes in a 50ml bottle for only RM50! and mine's the old packaging. There's also 100ml bottle which costs only RM79! 100ml okay, banyak macam boleh minum but please don't hahah

||     THE INGREDIENTS          

This ampoule is made from 100% Centella Asiatica Extract, and that's it! nothing else.

Yep, I am not kidding.

Centella Asiatica, kampung name is Pegaga lol, contains 30% Asiatocoside, 30% Asiatic Acid and 40% Madecassic acid. Centella is also known for increasing collagen production, treating eczema, decreasing inflammation and reduces sun damage.

Centella is used in traditional medication for wound healing too. I used to mix centella leaves with water and blend them, extract the water from the blended centella leaves and drink them cold. super refreshing!

||     WHAT IT CLAIMS          

I don't have active pimples but I do have what people call jerawat pasir. And this really helps me with the jerawat pasir. It takes some time, but it does disappear. Nasi yang tak pernah reti nak pecah tu akan timbul and tercabut without me having to pinch it out sampai bleeding hehe.

||     WHY I LOVE THIS AMPOULE          

Okay, first- it works!  I mean it. Second- It can be used in so many ways!

The other ways to use this ampoule are:
1. Mix it with your favorite cream
2. Mask - soak with cotton pads and put on your face for instant mask (best for sunburns)
3. Treat body acne - mix it with your shower foam. THIS WORKS!
4. Mist - mix it with water to create mist!

Tips : put it in a fridge and use cold to really feel the freshness!

Highlight use of this ampoule 
I tried to mix it with my Klairs Vitamin E cream, but I personally think the mixture is too heavy for my skin, even though it works damn good. I use this ampoule at night time before I sleep,  and everytime I take a bath. I just ad like 6-10 drops of the ampoule to my shower foam (which I separate to other small 50ml bottle), and give it a shake, and I'm good to go!

TBH, 1 of my office wall is made of glass, and I sit with my backside facing the glass wall. I really hate it on the evening because the sunlight is faced directly to our office (and even if I close the blind, my back still panas), and I even got body acne due to this TT~TT

I read online that this ampoule can be mixed with your shower foam and it works great to fight body acne. So, I did try and it works like hell! You can see really, really visible result in a week! This is by far the best thing about this ampoule~

So my to-sleep current skincare is :
Cleansing balm / micellar water - Physiogel Cleanser - Toner - Ampoule - Centella cream !

||     TEXTURE & DETAILS          

💧 Texture - Quite Runny
it's not as thick as other ampoule I've tried. But it's not like water. I mean, you can feel it on your skin, but it's not suffocating.
💧 Absorbent - easily & quickly absorbed by skin
💧 Colour - Clear & transparent
💧 Scent- Fragrance free.
💧 Packaging - Matte glass bottle with dropper

Pros :

Cons :
Still, yes, I still haven't found any cons hahah!
Well, maybe the glass bottle? Tu pon sebab takut jatuh dan pecah. But the bottle is matte, and not clear glass so it's unlikely to slip off of your hands so it's not really an issue.

Will I repurchase this?
YES!!!!

Will I recommend this to my friends?
