Who else saw April Skin Calendula Peel Off pack ad on Facebook and keep seing the same ad and then it haunts you? I saw the video and watched it once but it keeps on appearing on my Homepage. Same product, different videos and promotions. Are they stalking me or does April Skin pays Facebook too much so it literally pops up every single time I'm on Facebook? Oh, it appears a lot on my Instagram too okeh.

I was hesitant to try this product at first as it's a peel off mask. But the reviews (and haunting promotional videos lol) are so attractive I don't think I can skip trying this out.
This is a peel off pack which contarins real Calendula petals and it smells good. It smells like honey, to be exact. I am not a fan of Peel off pack as it usually irritates the skin, but I decided to try this one out as it seems really gentle and hydrating (well, from what the promotional video shows me haha!). Here's what the product claims:
Refreshing peel off mask is fortified with real calendula petals, extract and oil. Gentle yet powerful formula helps lift away dull, dead skin, and dirt and debris to reveal visibly cleaner, smoother, radiant skin.
And there are so many online platforms that sells this mask so be careful not to buy any fake products ya!

|| FIRST IMPRESSIONS
My first impressions was that the product is the same as advertised. It comes in a plastic box full with description and 1 side of the box description is in English, while the other side is in Korean. I love the packaging and the color of the tube.
I can see the Calendula flower petals from outside of the tube and I actually really love the fact that it comes in a tube. Easy to squeeze out the products and it's hygenic. It's recommended to use this with their jelly brush for but i just use my fingers.
|| TEXTURE AND HOW TO USE
This pack really does contain tiny bits of Calendula flower petals and it's quite a lot, just like in advertisement. Here's what I can sum up to you regarding the texture and details :
🌼 Texture : Quite thick but not too thick
🌼 Color : Clear and transparent
🌼 Scent : Smells like honey + flower
🌼 Time taken to dry : depends on how thick you apply. it usually takes around 30 minutes
🌼 Packaging : plastic matte tube
So this peel off pack is really easy to use.
1. Clean your face and make sure no makeup or what so ever on your face.
2. Shake the tube, make sure not all petals are not on the bottom. Otherwise you'll be pumping out too much petals
3. Apply this mask evenly on your dry face, avoiding eye area and hairline.
4. Leave it to dry, which usually takes around 30 minutes.
5. Peel off, and proceed to next skincare routine

Pros :
✔ Soothing and calming. My skin feels cool when I applied this mask
✔ Light scent, which is kinda refreshing

✔ Peel off all at once, not as messy as other peel off products
✔ Gentle. Doesn't hurt or make me have teary eyes while pulling it off
✔ Moisturizing and can see skin becomes less patchy and slightly brighter

✔ Bonus for tub packaging as it's super hygenic
Cons :
✖ I don't store this standing up as the petals will block the hole of the tub.
✖ This is a gentle peel off mask, don't expect it to draw out all impurities like normal nose pack does.
