Assalamualaikum & good day everyone!
I am not a camera junkie, or a camera geek, but photography is definitely something I love. I usually take photos using my phone camera, or whoever camera that can give me nice quality picture (lol). But I tell you, if my friends / family got a camera in any event i'm in, I will surely be the one taking photos (if my younger sister is not around, she takes amazing pictures!) HAHA!
But still, I am a no pro, and my photos are not that good yet 😅 (Read : YET)
I have a big project that I've been working on and it requires me my own camera (will reveal about the project SOON!). Not that my phone's camera is not good enough, but I need this 2 to be separated. Why? ease of use. I always think like this- If my phone ran out of battery and my usb is damaged / my powerbank also ran out of battery (double trouble), I still got my camera to take photos!
And of course, camera is needed for blogging purpose. kekeke.
So for my first camera, I was thinking of something compact, something small that can fit my pocket AND budget friendly. I got my eyes on Fujifilm cameras, but it's not within my budget. Then I got my eyes on SONY WX500, but I thought if the camera comes with a body strap, it would be amazing. But this model also comes in white, though. I die die want a white camera even though everyone said that it will get dirty easily. Then when I found the perfect one, with body strap and stuffs, the price is not within my budget pulak, but the lens is changable. I want to buy my first camera so that I can practice, to learn how to, what to do and what not to do, then only I want to upgrade the camera. Because a great camera doesn't always produce the best images, . It also requires the photographer's skill. Cewah skill, kemain jah.

Assalamualaikum and hi :D !
So last weekend, my friend and I went to this place called Seven Oaks, which is a restaurant and also a bakery! It took me a week to finally blog about this as work has been overflowing these few months due our company new system ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
OK back to our main topic about the cafe.
I actually never know about this place, but it turned out that I always pass by the area when I first worked in JB. I always saw the building from across the street and thought that it was just another fancy hotel, which is not!
I was there earlier than my friend. And guess what, both of us sesat jalan! Please, DO NOT follow the location given on their facebook page. It makes me curse because the maps was taking me to the garbage area HAHA. I was like, "Oi I wanna go to a restaurant to eat, you want me to eat garbage meh?". No worries, I will give you the exact address at the end of the post (like always 😉 ) so stay tuned!
|| THE CAFE
unfortunately, I failed to take the picture of the whole building from outside. There were a bunch of guys that was doing piping stuffs nearby, and one of them keep staring at me. super scary! his head even turned and follow my every move! so I decided to wait for my friend inside the cafe and luckily no one bother asking me why I sat inside without buying anything. Maybe the staffs are used to it since the cafe is super fancy & cute hahaha.
Assalamualaikum. :)
After a long hiatus, I'm back with my food review. Yeay~! This time will be about KFry, a Korean food restaurant!
Not to lie, I love Kpop. You know, people's common reaction when I say I like Kpop, is - "why u like those jambu guys? you can't even understand their language!". Oh yeah, say what you want. I don't care because each of us got our own preference. Be nice to each other!
Even not everyone loves Kpop, most of us can't resist Korean food! Ok, forget nationalities, great food is great food! Let's admit it. Korean knows how to make us drool while watching them eat in movies & dramas. Oh speaking of which, have you guys watch 'Let's Eat'? If you haven't, please watch it. If you're hungry, I suggest you to eat first because you won't be able to tahan lapar watching that drama HAHA.
NOT THE FIRST TIME
So I finally got the chance to try Kfry Urban Korean food, and actually this is not my first time coming here. My friend and I actually went here when Kfry first opened. But we didn't order anything and just walk out lol. Why? because the first thing I saw when I get into the restaurant was Cass bottle. Of course I know Cass beer, it's the beer Sandara Park drink in Kiss MV (and I'm a blackjack haha!). I decided to seat, and look at the menu.
Curious and not confident, I walk out of the restaurant. Why? I know they didn't sell pork/ lard but we Muslims also can't drink alcohol. They sell alcohol, and even the food sold doesn't contains alcohol, it's still better to find another place because we're in Malaysia. Halal restaurants is super easy to find. That's my personal opinion- better safe than sorry. So off we went.
Few months later, this restaurant started to get viral. Many muslims came and of course I was curious. So I DM the page asking if the food served is halal, and they say that they didn't have the halal certificate yet, but the ingredients they are using are halal certfied and they also got Muslim staffs there. Enough waiting, lets go Hani!
THE RESTAURANT
We arrived around 130pm (if i'm not mistaken) and the queue was super long! The restaurant is on the second floor and the queue was until downstairs.
long queue
upstairs
waiting space
ok the first thing I realized was, the cass bottle and ads is not there anymore and they really hire Muslim staffs! I mean, it's a great news because I can now eat confidently!
I don't take lots of pictures of the interior but overall, the restaurant is so clean and the interior is so gorgeous. Promise you guys next time I will take lots of pictures of the restaurant I make review on. not just the food like this time HAHAHA. I'm saving money to buy myself a camera. But if anyone is willing to sponsor me one, I will be very grateful and I promise you I will make a review post on it HAHAHA (acah-acah retis sekejap).
THE MENU
Nah! here's for you who's planning to go but not sure about your budget and what to order. Click to enlarge.
THE FOOD
I hate it because my seat got bad lighting, how to take good pictures of ME and the food? HAHAHA! So I forced my friend to switch the place for picture purpose. We were like, kejap-kejap tukar tempat to get a nice picture. Rule of good photos- Lighting, Lighting, Lighting! Thanks Bibah :')
Since it was only 2 of us, we ordered UFO Kimchi Bokkeumbap, K'razy Spicy Cheesy Fried Chicken Bumbuk, Mango Rita and Mini Bingsoo - Oreo Chocolate Bingsoo~ and it costs us RM 116.00 :') split the bill guys, split the bill. (still crying after split the bill lol.) Please don't order too much, and I'm not saying this because of the price, but the portion is really generous. We share our Kimchi Bokkeumbap and everything, but still need to bungkus the remaining since we can't finish it.
K'razy Spicy Cheesy Fried Chicken Bumbuk
the staff will help you coat the chicken. (I know you guys can't see it but I love her hairstyle HAHA)
the chicken
The staff will first separate the chicken, cheese & fries. They'll melt and mix the cheese, and after that coat the chicken with the melted cheese. It taste soooooo freaking good! The chicken is sweet and bit spicy (not really spicy for me though), but the pepper paste is super good, the chicken is crunchy and juicy too.
coated chicken
Ok now i'm drooling. =.='''
HAHA I hate the fact that I am hungry because of the food I'm trying to show you guys!
UFO Kimchi Bokkeumbap
I've always wanted to try Kimchi fried rice, so I ordered this. The yellow melted stuff around the rice is the cheese and eggs. topped with half coked egg, and it is served on a hot claypot. The staff will ask if you want their help to mix the rice and I said yes because I was curious, why would they ask if we need their help to "mix" the rice? Is there any special step?
But no lah. they just help you kacau the rice and mix it with everything jeee. I regret saying yes because I really like half cooked kuning telur and it was gone when he mixed it. *bye bye my kuning telur goyang TT~TT
no more telur kuning goyang :')
Honestly, when it first came, I was like, "why does this smells like nasi goreng adabi? The legendary fried rice paste that I love so much. And my friend was, ya lah bau macam nasik goreng adabi.
And it tastes the same as Nasi Goreng Adabi except this one got kimchi, but serius sebijik HAHAHA whyyyy. It's delicious but why u taste like nasi goreng adabi and I paid so much for this HAHAHA. I was laughing at myself, and keep repeat the same question. sedap tapi why? lol.
Our food
Oreo Chocolate Bingsoo. Aiyaiyaaaaa~ *singing Bingsoo from AKMU.
The bingsoo is sooo delicious! I love everything about this bingsoo. the pepero, the vanilla ice cream, the shaved ice underneath the oreo. Just, everything! I wanna try strawberry bingsoo next time, because I love strawberries~
THE SERVICE
free Coke
As I told you, there was a really long queue. But we didn't wait that long, seriously. We're still, so amazed with the speed and their customer service. They served us free Coke as we were waiting in the lines, seated when we reach upstairs at normal chair since the sofa area is full, then we transfer to sofa area. The workers already take note of how many of us before they sit us in the waiting area. We were given the menu while waiting, which will speed up the order processing.
The staffs are also alert with the surrounding, greet us when we walked in, and it's really easy to call them. You angkat tangan sikit, and someone will come. unlike some restaurants which kita dah separa jerit pon, no one cares.
You can tapau everything, even the bingsoo. The staffs will be happy to help. Please don't be shy to tapau back the leftover food, because you pay for it. And don't waste the food just because you malu nak tapau okay.
Friendly staff, speedy order, clean restaurant. I wish went to the toilet to inspect its cleanliness HAHAHA.
THE LOCATION
As far as I know, there are only 2 branches of KFry and 1st is in JB, and another one is in Batu Pahat. They're still planning on the third branch but no news on the location yet. So here's the address of KFRY JB and BP :

KFRY BATU PAHAT
07-430 0301
Official website: https://kfry.my/

Till then,
Thank you for reading this entry!
hani shubie
I've been keeping this post since FOREVER! I'm so sorry for the delay as I was very busy with my job (double the business since it was almost Hari Raya), and my lovely cat, Chaemong, died on 2nd Hari Raya. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ž I cried so much (and still am because I miss him TT~TT) but at least he's in peace now, because he was actually really sick.
Okay lets move on before I start to cry again HAHAHA
|| MY SKIN TYPE
I have a very, very dry skin and trust me, I tried all sorts of products to make it normal. The feeling is like when you use mud/ clay mask and when it dries on your skin, you will feel your skin cracking every time you move your face, even just to talk. Really, that is exactly how it feels like! Uncomfortable, and it feels like your skin is going to crack anytimeee. noooo!
Another thing I hate about dry skin is that there's ALWAYS white flakes on your skin, which is the dried, peeled skin. I used to have them around my mouth. which makes me looks like a crazy & lazy fella- going to work without washing my face. Macam air liur basi but it wasn't! it was the skin =.=''
|| PRODUCTS I USE
Trust me I have been trying lots of products! But I tell you, please do NOT have your hands on the products that doesn't come with the KKM or the products that claim themselves to "show the results after 1 usage", "guna sekali terus cantik" bla bla bla, unless you are very sure of their whereabouts. And please do lots of research before trying the products especially if they are clinically tested, the ingredients. Think again, you are risking your face. Most important- google bad review about the products HAHA. This is the easiest you can do!
I will let you know products I use to give you a hint on what products you can try, and some tips I know. Of course, you need to experience few products in order to find the one that best suits your skin!
from left : COSRX Whitehead power liquid, Royal Beauty Water ph11, Nature Republic Aloe Vera Emulsion & Toner, Physiogel cleanser
PHYSIOGEL
Physiogel Dermo-Cleanser
purchase now on HERMO to get the free wallet for purchase above RM 80.00~
Wanna know something? this actually is a body wash HAHAHA! i didn't know when i first bought this, but it's really good for dry & sensitive skin, just like what it claims. I only found out later after months of using it (and it was because I got the free samples which include pamphletes of Physiogel new products HAHA). But i don't really like the texture of the face wash because it was too moisturizing at the point it becomes almost oily. so I just stick with this cleanser.
This cleanser is not the foam type, so don't waste your time rubbing them on your face, hoping it to produce foam because it won't. And, Foam type facial cleanser is not the best for Dry skin type. It will make your skin dryer.
#HStips : buy a small bottle and just fill it up because pumping from the big bottle will cause you to overpump (since it was made for body, not face). #jombelajarberjimat hihi
NATURE REPUBLIC
Two green bottles in the middle - Emulsion & Toner
If you are suffering from dry skin, please, please DO NOT SKIP toner. Pat your skin with dry towel and directly put on toner. do NOT wait, since you just washed away the dirt, oils and moisture from our face so your face is really dry at that time.
I love this toner because it is water-based and not thick. Just, don't skip toner. Okay? 😉
apply emulsion after the toner is absorbed on your skin and you're good to go! This is my everyday routine. Dry skin cannot skip okay! I just use these 2 (and COSRX afterwards) and no night cream. and it works!
The best way to use toner is not to use so many of it in one go. Apply once. let the skin absorb the toner, and apply it again. You can repeat it as many times you want. No problemo~
Toner
COSRX
I actually first found out about the product when I receive free samples from HERMO (I love you, HERMO!). I tried all samples, and I fast fast buy this Whitehead Power Liquid. lol.
I really recommend this for those who have the "jerawat pasir" (help, idk what does it called in English HAHA). What I hate about the jerawat pasir is that they can stay really long UNDER your skin, as if it's not going to fade or what. I always hurt myself trying to poke the pimple out because it was annoying and deep under the skin but the bump is disturbing! And of course, I poke it until I bleed. ã… ~ã… (please don't do that to your skin).
Seriously this product is divine for people who want a healthier skin. It works great with dry skin as it contains Hyaluronic Acid which moisturizes my skin and I strongly recommend this one for you.
you can try google the COSRX Whitehead Remover Review and there are lots and lots of detail review and tips. But it really worth the money.
#HStip : after apply this Whitehead Remover, it is best to wait 30 minutes if before applying more products.
Pros : what it does to your skin
Cons: The smell. i think its weird, but not bad. just, weird. haha!
YADAH
Oh My Sunblock
I got this sunblock for FREE from Hermo for their 5th Birthday Anniversary, and I LOVE IT! This is like, the best sunblock ever. It's not greasy, absorbs well, not sticky, and it moisturizes too! I also got the small sample of it and I gave it to my officemate. Yes, she loves it too!
Best Thing about Yadah is the products are all natural. Seriously, I often skip Emulsion nowadays and just use the sunblock but my skin is getting healthier! no signs of it getting dryer. And good thing about the sunblock is it is white in color. No need to use the Tone Up cream to apply makeup.
Bonus : face mask (got these for free from HERMO!)
Use face mask at least once a week to pamper your skin. For best result, use it everyday but we all know how much a mask sheet costs, right? So, once a week will do 😉
|| MY SKINCARE STEPS
1. Spray PH 11 water from Royal Beauty Water (I got mine from instagram @waterbottle.my )
2. Cleanse my wet face with Physiogel cleanser (direct use cleanser after PH11, no need to wash off first)
3. Pat dry & spray toner.
4. Let the skin absorbs the toner & apply COSRX (night), or Yadah Sunblock (day).
5. For night time- put on emulsion after 30 mins. Day- apply cc cream & compact powder. Done!
Do not skip toner, drink LOTS of water, avoid smoking, and do NOT sleep with makeups on. You won't like what it will do to your skin. No matter how lazy you are, just dont!
Till then,
Thank you for reading this entry!
Assalamualaikum.
hani shubie
We all know how easy to find delicious food nowadays, right? Yep, it all thanks to the "Viral" power. I remember back then, we seriously have to do some research (like, hell yes- research! hahaha) on where to eat when we went to somewhere we were not familiar about.
you know those so-called research like, calling your friends who have been to the certain places you wanna go JUST to ask, "eh there can eat where ah? tasty food got sell where ah over there?" (pardon my Manglish ✌️ )
But that's before.
When the travel plan orders goes like :
1. Pick a place
2. Plan the budget, itinerary, etc.
3. where to eat? Start reasearch, cari balik shabat lama lol.
to this:
1. Places to eat (Pick what's viral to try and let's go there kinda thing)
2. Plan the budget, itinerary, etc.
there it goes, one less thing to do! All thanks to the "Viral" posts on the internet.
Sure a great thing, eh?
I love how "Viral" food stalls, restaurants make our eating business easy (even though queuing up is hell because the line will surely be super long!), but some sellers are really upsetting.
You see, most of these viral places are not just beside our house, sometimes it's faaaarr away. Be it Negeri or Country. No, I'm not going to talk about countries now hahaha. maybe next time? watchout for the #HaniShubieTheGlobeTrotter. lol.
There are few times that I was upset about the food served at some viral restaurants. And what's sad is when I went to some restaurants (yang baru viral) and tried their gorgeous food, and it was really tasty so I blog it, posted it on instagram, and few WEEKS later, people complain that the food served is not as tasty or as photogenic as the one I ate. and some even be like, "are you sure that's where you eat?".
Wait, what?
Ni bukan gambar masa bulan puasa tau! hahahaha #SorryNotSorry
To be honest, I am not paid to do any review on any post that is on this blog nor instagram (up to this date as I am not famous when I am writing this entry, lol). I write about what I experienced and what I ate since I want to share with you guys my experience & recommendations. That's all!
I hope that those who is in the food industry, no matter just for a certain season, like bulan puasa jual kuih raya, bazar Ramadhan, or have your own restaurants for a living, please please please be honest and not take advantage of the "Viral" situations. Senang cakap, jangan lah sebelum viral, kuah pekat berisi sedap lemak, lepas viral kuah rasa macam letak kiub ayam sebab tak larat nak handle customer / alang-alang orang ramai so boleh kaut untung lebih dan tak ada isi penuh macam dulu. And, many people complaint about food sold at Bazar Ramadhan being recook, busuk, cair and stuffs. Please seller, what if you die die wanna eat something and people sell you that? would you be happy? :(
Because as a Customer, we will feel cheated by the Viral advertisement, and as a food hunter, people would not trust my taste anymore haha!
p/s: I'm sorry for not posting any updates on where to ifTHOR sebab i belum jumpa foodhunting partner lagi lol.
Till Then,
Thank you for reading this entry!
Assalamualaikum.
