|| MY REVIEW
Assalamualaikum mina-san! (eh tiber cakap Jepun kekeke)
Many people label eye cream as some unnecessary skincare but as for someone who have dry skin and eye bag that I inherited from my ancestors (genetically, lol), I need eye cream to ensure my dark circle are not getting worst. But seriously, regular moisturizers are too harsh for eye areas and kinda sting my eyes. I tried not to use eye cream and depends solely on toner and moisturizers before but my oh my... I became a total panda. Nope, I became hantu kak limah because panda is cute but me with eyebags is not TT_TT
But the thing about eye cream is, like some people say, it's just some expensive moisturizers and I can't help but agree. Why the ___ does eye cream needs to be friggin expensive? *crying in millionaire*
After hunting for several weeks for the best affordable eye cream, I finally decided to try iUNIK Propolis eye cream. Since the reviews are quite convincing and the price (of course) caught my eye. Its below RM35 and since I used Cosrx Propolis toner and it's good for my skin, why not propolis eye cream, right?
|| iUNIK PROPOLIS VITAMIN EYE CREAM
So, iUNIK is a brand launced in 2016 and has been in market for quite some time. It is a Korean skincare brand that focuses on minimalism and skincare made from natural ingredients. Oh, they are also dedicated to produce products with ample sizes at fair prices!
Propolis is not a new ingredient when it comes to health, doesn't matter skin health or body health. This eye cream is formulated with propolis extract, sea buckthorn fruit extract, niacinamide and also green tea leaf extract - all known for their functions and benefits in skincare. If you're worried about fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes, this cream could be the one for you as it's great for anti-aging, especially considering the price that's way less than majority of the eye cream in the market.
Although this eye cream targets those who have dull skin, dark circles, fine lines and dry skin; oily / combination / acne-prone skin also can benefit from this eye cream as it suits all skin types.
|| INGREDIENTS
Here are the list of ingredients for this eye cream:
Propolis Extract (40.5%), Water, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract (0.2%), Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Niacinamide, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Cetearyl Olivate, Betaine, Glycosyl Trehalose, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Acrylated Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sorbitan Olivate, Beta-Glucan, Lactobacillus/Rice Ferment, Lactobacillus/Ginseng Root Ferment Filtrate, Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Saccharomyces/Potato Extract Ferment Filtrate, Saccharomyces/Coix Lacryma-Jobi Ma-yuen Seed Ferment Filtrate, Xanthan Gum, Centella Asiatica Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Caprylyl Glycol, Behenyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ammonium Acryloyl/Dimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose, Distearate, Tromethamine, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Hydroxydecyl Ubiquinone (300 ppm), Aspalathus Linearis Extract, Caramel, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Yucca Schidigera Root Extract, Commiphora Myrrha Resin Extract,Perilla Frutescens Leaf Extract, Copper Tripeptide-1, Acetyl/Hexapeptide-8, Limonene, Linalool
Well.... that's a long ingredient list!
|| TEXTURE AND HOW TO USE
When to use eye cream:
1. After cleansing3. Before makeup and sunscreen
It is recommended that you use eye cream every morning and night. As for me, I use it every time after I clean my face, just like toner as my skin is dry and I don't like the feeling of it without any moisturizing skincare. Here's how to use it:
1. Apply appropriate amount of product on your eye area
2. Using your ring finger, tap the product at your eye area
Done!
The amount of the eye cream depends on your needs and as for me, I usually squeeze it on my hands first (around 1/2 finger length) and divide it between my eyes. If I feel that my eyes are moisturized enough and I still have some product left, I'll apply it at the area at the corner of my lips or smile line areas.
The texture is lightweight and slightly yellow in color which I think is due to the propolis, it absorbs really well and does not have any scent.

|| MY REVIEW
Now, the part that we've all been waiting for~
Pros:
🐝 Lightweight, does not feel overwhelming
🐝 Unscented 🤩🤩🤩
🐝 Can be used as face cream too!
🐝 Moisturizing, and brightens a little
🐝 Absorbs really well
🐝 Minimal packaging and does not squeeze out too much product at a time
🐝 Improves skin around eye area
🐝 Price is very reasonable!
🐝 Makes makeup around eye smoother
Cons:
🍯 None so far
Where to grab?
Price : RM34.90 each (30ml)
You can get it at Wako or Shopee
🍨 This eye cream works quite well for fine lines
🍨 Use this day and night for at least a week or two to see the obvious result. No skincare can change your skin condition in just 1 day, but you can certainly see that the eye bag is not getting worst, and your skin will feel better. Be careful with product that can change your skin in just 1 use as it may contain harmful ingredients!
Till then, thank you for reading (and please come again for another post haha!)

Assalamualaikum & hello again~
Sunscreen is a staple for my skincare so I am always trying out new sunscreen more often than other skincare products. This time, I got my hands on the Laneige Radian-C Sun Cream. I honestly never thought of trying this product as the price range is a bit too expensive but I got this on sale and it's almost half of the original price so... Why not?

|| LANEIGE RADIAN-C SUN CREAM
I don't think Laneige is a brand that I need to introduce and literally everyone know about this brand. Even people who don't really pay attention to Korean skincare have heard of this brand as it is sold at Sephora.
Radian-C is a line of skincare by Laneige that highlights Vitamin C as the main ingredients. Vitamin C is known to work wonders in brightening up our skin, reduces dark spots and so much more benefits. This line has been introduced back in 2020 and are 3 products in this line which are Radian-C Advanced Effector, Radian-C Cream and Radian-C Sun Cream.
Here are Laneige's claim on the Sun scream:

|| INGREDIENTS

|| TEXTURE AND HOW TO USE
This sunscreen has the perfect texture - it's not too watery nor thick. It absorbs well too and does not leave white cast on your skin. For dry skin people like me, this is quite a good sunscreen as it is quite hydrating and does not leave my skin dry afterwards. I love the fact that it comes with SPF 50+ and PA++++, and I have been using this sunscreen for around 2 months and so far I like it.
![]() |
no white cast! |
This sunscreen, like the other sunscreen, is easy to use. Use it at the final step of your skincare and before your makeup. Oh, don't put on sunscreen on your night-time skincare routine ya! Someone told me that they thought that you need to put on sunscreen before you sleep. NOOOO! You put on night cream before you sleep, not sunblock okayy!
The other day, I forgot to apply sunscreen before makeup and only remember it after I finish putting on my cushion. I kid you not, I really don't feel safe without sunscreen (same feeling like when I put on toner late after washing my face HAHA) and since I was already late for work, I just apply it on top of the cushion I used and thank God it doesn't rub off.
|| MY REVIEW
Honestly, the packaging looks chic and minimal and nothing too outstanding. But I love the fact that it comes in a pump tube as it has been so long since I last lay my hands on sunscreen in pump packaging.
After using this sunscreen for a few months, here are my thoughts:
Pros
✨ Light texture
✨ Quite moisturizing, doesn't leave my skin dry
✨ Easy to apply due to the texture
✨ No white cast
✨ Love that it comes in pump tube
✨ Pumps the perfect amount for each use
✨ Packaging is quite sturdy. The cap does not fall off easily
Cons
🔆 Citrusy scent. It's fades once you applied but it's still quite strong. (It's not a problem for me as I love citrusy scent)
Where to grab?
Price : RM 128.00 each (50ml)
You can get it at Sephora, Shopee, Lazada and Laneige website
🍧 In short, it's a good product but I can get similar if not better ones for the fraction of the price.
🍧 In terms of brightening, I'm not really sure if it really brightens up my skin but pimple scars on my face kinda fades away a little.
And that's my review on this sunscreen! Anyways, I'd like to keep my review simple and easier to read as I really wanna do lots and lots more reviews! (Please pray for me to be more passionate abt updating my blog hahah!)
Till then, Thanks for reading!

This is absolutely random but my friends and I were thinking on doing some activity together, and yup, we have mixed personalities and preference. I, for instance, don't like hiking and I don't wanna go camping while they kinda wanna do either 1. So being a genius me (perasan), I must come with a solution to take their minds off of those activities and suggest them a new one that's even more attractive. I have been wanting to do something different and attend classes, and I found pottery class nearby! I was sooooo glad that they immediately agree with my suggestion hahahaha! (that's how much i dont wanna go hiking 😭 camping okay lagi lol)
Okay before you judge me, I'm a 100% kampung girl so dirt is not the reason I dont wanna go camping. I actually camped too much during my schooldays, especially when I was in the police cadet, and we represented Johor during that time and camped for almost a week. Then PLKN also got camping, haiyaaaa 😐 So, I don't wanna do activities related to camping because I did that all growing up and I just wanna do something else. But as for hiking, I'll be honest- I'm not a fan.
Now back to the story.
We went to the pottery class in December, and I only post it on the blog this month as the arts we made took around 1 month to be ready and of course I wanna show you what I made!
|| THE POTTERY CLASS
The pottery class we attended is at A Leaf Pottery. Located in Eco Botanic, Nusajaya. A Leaf Pottery actually offers 2 types of pottery classes which are hand building and wheel throwing. Hand building is like playing with Play Dough but of course with proper steps and tools to make your own art while wheel throwing is the one with the spinning wheel that often seen on the internet. Or romantic movies. Yup, definitely seen a lot in romantic movies where lovers do pottery together and then come the haram scene HAHA.
![]() |
Not sure why the sign put One Leaf Pottery but that's the one! |
Not trying to be romantic but we choose the wheel throwing class. I mean, you can't get this experience elsewhere and especially at home as the only thing that spins around in my house besides the fan is the blender lol. The pottery shop closes on Thursdays so after a few discussions, we decided to go on weekdays as we are all busy during the weekends and we need to use the AL anyway.
Our class started at 10.30am (we took the morning session) and we were greeted by Mr Moo upon our arrival. This class starts with a short briefing because their aim is not just for people to enjoy making arts but understand the art and appreciate them more.
And don't worry, it's not boring at all!
We were shown the differences between porcelain and stoneware and which one we are going to use in the class and why it took around one month before we can collect our arts. It's all because of the processes involved. The arts are going to be dried for a couple of days, then burned, glazed, and burned again, and that's a whole lot of steps just to produce small arts that we made! Imagine, the first burning takes 1 whole day and at a temperature of 900°C! The arts must be cooled down first before proceeding with the next steps. That's why it takes time.
Also, they do the burning process based on the amount of the arts made. So, one month is actually the maximum time for us to get our products. Lucky for us, A Leaf pottery made quite a lot of business nowadays (lots of people come for the art class and so many arts to bake) and we are able to get our arts faster.
|| MY EXPERIENCE
Therapeutic, calming and stress relieving... well, not all of it are true if you are such a short-tempered person hahah! My friend, Myra and I were having quite a hard time because both of us are quite short-tempered, unlike Dila & Linda hahah. For me personally, it's quite hard to control the shape of the clay but it's really fascinating to see the movement of clay with just a little touch. So, yes, I agree on the calming and stress relieving part but not until when you suddenly made the wall of the clay too thin and it collapsed. Now THAT makes u stress gila HAHA. Luckily, I didn't experience that but one of the art I made collapsed after I take it off of the wheel 😅
We were given 3 clays to make our arts and we can each choose one art to bring home. Well, you can choose more than 1 but extra item will cost you RM30.00 each. I choose to bring home 2 so I need to add money~ You can make anything out of the clay, and really anything! From vase to bowls to cups, whatever u wanna make, you can. But the size of the clay is not that big as it's just a beginner's class so don't plan on making huge arts.
The next step is to pick the color of the glaze. Glaze is the color on pottery products we often see. It coats the art and makes it more durable and strong but glaze is not paint - it is actually a mineral. Each mineral produces different color when baked, and the same mineral might produce different color based on the firing temperature. We picked the color based on the art displayed and I picked dark brown for my first bowl, and white + purple for my second bowl.
![]() |
Look at how cute this baby is! I actually wanted this color but i forgot what ms Moo said about it so i took purple instead 😢 |
|| THE ARTS
During briefing, we have been told that the art will shrink during the firing process so we don't expect the art to be the same size as when we made them. I was excited to make a bowl for my ramen but since it's gonna shrink, I just do a bowl for whatever fits.
To our suprise, it actually shrinks a lot! It can fit a normal pack of maggie before, but after the firing and glazing process, it can barely fit half of the maggie hahahah. But it's still cute! I love them!

Mine! |
Well, I choose purple color to combine with white and I think it turned out great but other people keep telling me that it's pink, not purple. What do you think?
|| MY REVIEW
Honestly, I really recommend this class! Once you get the hang of it, it's really fun and time passes by so quickly you won't even realize.
As usual, here's my review:
🍵 10 for the service (the owner & his daughter are so nice and soft spoken!)
🍵 9.8 for the ambience
🍵 9.8 for the location
🍵 10 for the art outcome!
Will I come again?
Yes! But I'd like to join other activities and classes first for now.
Will I recommend this activity to the others?
Yes, definitely go! Experience it at least once!
