So, here we are at day 6 of my SoKor trip! If you noticed, I skipped day 1, 5 and will skip 7 because we use most of that time to travel. However, I will write the summary and itinerary on other blog post and you guys can check out what we did on that day. Yeay!
So, on day 5, we picked up our car from AJ Rentacar and you guys can check out my post HERE on how to rent cars from them.
The unfortunate thing for us that day was rain poured down instead of snow, which we really hope for (main reason we go to this trip on Winter!). But personally, it's still better. since from what I heard, people who went to Jeju around 1 week before us was greeted with heavy snow that even the flight back was cancelled and they were stuck there in the island for around 2-3 days.
Back to our 6th day, the first thing we did in the morning was we head back to the city to AJ Rentacar sice we would like to ask a few things about the GPS and if the staff can change the writing typing language too instead of just voice to English. But unfortunately, no. You can only change the voice, not the writing language. Also, we met 2 young guys, adik-adik orang utagha who stayed at the same homestay as us and want to go pickup their car from AJ. So we gave them a ride.
Oh right! I will make a blog post on our Airbnb stay later!
|| LOVE MUSEUM
After that we went to the Love museum as my friend really wanna go there. Me? Nah. I don't wanna see dick statues and statues of people having sex with safe sex information that I could not understand HAHAH! Honestly, when my friend said that she wants to go there, I was like, "okay, I dont wanna go there but since I drag her everywhere to the places I wanna go, let's just follow her this time LOL". But still, I googled about the place and err.... Idk. And some blog wrote that the museum gave information on safe sex, bla bla bla but they understand nothing since the content was in Korean, not English. And I am not gonna show you the stuffs they show on my blog hahah. you just, google it yourself lah.
even the gate was...
And luckily, my friend changed her mind because of the entrance fee of W8,000.00 and there are lots of things we can do with that instead of going to weird place kahkah.
But still, we head there since my friend really wanna sneak on what's there. We just parked outside and wander around but no. You can't see a thing from outside. On the bright side, we saw a rainbow!
|| GD MONSANT CAFE
my shot. the weather wasn't that good
what the cafe should look like
Since it was rainy, not much people are seen outside and all windows were closed, which makes it looked like it's not even some place for people to visit. I mean, look at the picture above. Nothing states it's open. hahahaha. We tak berani nak push the door pon sebab takut terbukak pintu dapur HAHAH. But then we asked some teens and we made it inside 😂😂😂

omg i am here!
despite the empty outsides, and the krik krik look since it was raining, the inside is packed! It was filled with locals. My friend struggled to find the good seat for picture purpose as I was just- doesn't matter where as long as the lighting wasn't bad for food pictures. LOL. So we sat next to the one-of-the-only-few-in the world Chandelier that I only read in blogs and news and rumours. I can't stop OMG in my heart I can't imagine what will happen if GD shows up.
I ordered Hot chocolate since I am not a coffee person, and a slice of carrot cake since we haven't had our breakfast yet. My cousin ordered the Noah's juice. and We both agree that it tasted weird because of the banana mixture. the cake was awesome and the hot chocolate isnot the best but it was yummy.
|| CAMELLIA HILL
After some chit chats, we made our way to Camellia Hill. Entrance fee is W 8,000.00 per person and it was super beautiful inside but again, it was sad that it rained heavily there. Even our shoes were drenched hahaha. You can even see blooming Camellia and other flowers in winter, and it was seriously gorgeous. This is a perfect photo spots as there are so many places with great backgrounds and there won't just be flowers.
|| JEONGBANG WATERFALL
Jeongbang waterfall is the only waterfall in Asia that falls directly to the ocean. This place offers free wifi at the parking spot, and the entrance fee was only W 2,000.00. But there's nothing much besides the waterfall and the ocean. But this will be the perfect place to relax in the summer since the waterfall and the ocean are in 1 place.
|| HALLA SAN
We didn't spend so much time at Jeongbang waterfall since it was nothing much to do and the weather was gloomy. So we head straight to the Halla-san for the snow.
It was raining non-stop, and unfortunately we didn't know when will they rain stop and we only have one day to take pictures with snow! So off we go. It took quite long to reach the top since the rain was heavy and the fog is quite thick. Luckily there wasn't so much cars going up and down (only desperate people like us would go up in such heavy rain HAHAHA), so the journey was easier.
When we reach the top, the guard asked us to turn back around since the weather is bad and dangerous to hike. Since my friend wanna take pictures of her lying on the snow, we park and play a bit there without hiking hehe. You have to pay the parking fee of W 1,800 but since we were asked to go back immediately, we saved ourselves some money. kekeke
this was edited, the fog in the original picture is terrible ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
For food, we tried to look for seafood restaurants but since Jeju Island is famous with their black pork meat, finding it neaby Halla san was almost impossible. So we head to Seopjikoji area to the restaurant recommended by HHWT. As I mentioned in the past posts, if you failed to find the halal cert, find seafood restaurant and asked the owner to exclude all meat, lard and ham.
We planned to go to Swiss Village after our dinner but we cancelled it since the fog was super thick as if there was a black wall in front of our car. Super sad, but safety do come first! besides, we were going back to Malaysia the next day so we head home to pack and rest.

The weather was okay since the snow wasn't terrible, and we don't have to put chains on the tires but still, the fog is too thick and the rain was heavy from the day we arrived, even when we departed! But it's okay since I will make sure to come again to Jeju Island one day, InsyaAllah (AND HONGDAE OMG I LOVE HONGDAE SO FREAKING MUCH!!).
I will try my best to keep you updated and to give you any info on my upcoming trip, and trust me I learned a lot on what kind of pictures should I take to show you guys. Wish me luck!
