RAMLY KOPITIAM, BATU PAHAT | REVIEW

December 21, 2019

Assalamualaikum korang~

So My family and I went to have our breakfast this morning at one of the kopitiam nearby the pasar at Batu Pahat, Johor. This is a small, corner lot kopitiam that is always, always packed with people. I've never seen the kopitiam without customers and empty tables can hardly be seen too!

I always wanted to bring my mom here for breakfast but since my mom's working on Sundays, so there's no time for us to go there as I usually spend only 1 night at my hometown everytime I went back except on holidays. (yeah, I work half day on Saturdays...)

Tapi kedai pulak tutup masa cuti. pfft.... (or we ols yang ada plan lain bhahahahah!)

BANILA CO CLEAN IT ZERO | REVIEW

December 6, 2019

Assalamualaikum everyone!

So, make up remover.

I love to use micellar water as it doesn't irritate my skin and HERE's my favorite micellar water review from Simple. I find micellar water to be gentler on my skin compared to the usual make up remover / wipes. And price wise, yes, I do use micellar water on a daily basis since it's more affordable and since I don't put on heavy makeup.

I was really curious about cleansing balm as I've heard of how great they work. I mean, balm? seriously? So like usual, I grab the sample sized products to see if it's as good as what I heard.

||     CLEANSING BALM

Cleansing balm is a creamy, thick balm, with an oily texture that does what make up removers do, but better!

Cleansing balm usually have the sherbet texture that changes to smooth oil when applied to your skin. It removes makeup without drying your skin, and doesn't strip off your skin's natural oils and moisture. It works like cleansing oil does, but it doesn't drip off and is easier to use.

As great as it is, please choose the ones that suites your skin types, as I still see some people choose skincare or makeup based on the review without considering their skin types. Lepastu complain review orang tak betul padahal korang guna product untuk oily skin sedangkan kulit korang dry. Babap kang! hahaha

||     BANILA CO. CLEAN IT ZERO

There are 4 types of Clean It Zero cleansing balm, namely:
1. Original (Pink, for all skin tpe)
2. Revitalising (Mint Green, for oily and combination skin)
3. Purifying (Purple, for sensitive skin)
4. Nourishing (Yellow, for dry skin)

These balms are made up of natural ingredients and it does not contain parabens, mineral oils, artificial coloring and alcohol.

Here's what I can tell you about this balm :
🎕 Texture - sherbet that changes to oil when applied to shin, then changes to milky type when added water while massaging your face
🎕 Scent- it's scented but lightly. Each color smells different, the pink + blue more to baby balm scent, while mint and yellow smells flowery.
🎕 Color - the color slightly differs, based on the formula used. For pink and blue bottle, it's more to white-colored balm, while balm for mint and yellow bottle is a bit yellowish.

I really love this cleansing balm as it's easier to use and carry instead of liquid type makeup cleanser, and I don't need to worry about it being spilled. It's also really gentle and removes makeup efficiently!

After using this balm, I really don't see any eye makeup falling off of my eyes after I wash my face as it's really damn clean! No emo eyes look after washing too as it really took away all of the makeups. And the best thing- at least one of my eyelashes usually fall off when I remove mascara using make up wipes/ remover, but this doesn't happen with the balm!

||     HOW TO USE

Bear in mind that this cleansing balm is used as a first step in your double cleansing routine.

Here's how to use a cleansing balm :
1. Apply the balm on your dry face, I usually put a little bit and add more while massaging my face if I feel like it's not enough
2. Massage your face with your fingers and make sure the balm is evenly separated on your face
3. Wet your hands and face a bit and continue massaging with fingers, especially eye areas. Adding water will turn the oil to a milky texture.
4. Rinse with water
5. Proceed with your normal cleansing routine (cleansing foam/ cream cleanser/ water based cleanser)

Some people wipe the balm off their face with muslin cloth soaked in warm water but I skip that step as it's kind of leceh hahaha. You can do that too but I find it easier to just rinse my face with water.
