PERIPERA INK AIRY VELVET TINT #03 | REVIEW

January 17, 2020

Assalamualaikum and hi~

Intro kena sama sebab kena bagi salam dulu haha!

Another lip product review but this time it's a lip tint by Peripera. I took some time to like, really try this out before giving reviews because I personally don't use lip matte product too much. I prefer tinted lip balm as it provides more moisture.

But I really love pastel colors and this lip lacquer (as stated at the box haha) really attract my attention. TBH, I was attracted to Dear Dahlia lip tint but then you know the price is Jahannam sangat so I decided to search for a lip product that delivers the same color as that, and stumbled across this one which is both pastel and affordable!

I'm sorry I just don't think spending RM132 on a lip matte is a great idea (for my pocket obviously). And luckily this one is  RM45.00 only, but if you know me - of course lah I bought this when it's on sale hahah~~~~~ (I got this for RM21.50 je masa year end sale)

||     FIRST IMPRESSIONS & PACKAGING

The packaging is cute, it's placed inside a box. Super cute bottle, I think it's made up of plastic but it looks like frosted glass. I really love frosted glass packaging because it looks so chic!

The box are labelled in both English and Korean, but not much information in English is available compared to Korean. But I love how they put the color code on the box and the bottle, and it's in a quite huge font. I find this really convenient because we usually need to look almost everywhere on the packaging to see the color code, and sometimes it's written in a really small font underneath the lip product, using sticker.

And when you use it after quite a while and your friends ask-"eh what lip product u use ah? what code ah?", then you can't tell because either the sticker is already fall off or the printed label itself is gone hahah! (I'm talking based on my experience tsk tsk)

And it's easier to tell the color of the lip product too as it's just the same as the bottle cap.

The applicator of this lip lacquer is slightly bend, and it's really soft too.

||     SWATCHES

The Ink airy velvet formula is really good! I have dry lips and this one doesn't turn my lips dry. The shade I bought is 03- Cartoon Coral. It kinda looks like warm salmon color, and if you love to make gradient lips- it's easy to do so too!

||     MY REVIEW

Pros:
♫ Nice packaging - bottle looks chic and size is perfect to put in handbag
♫ Great formula- does not make my lips dry
♫ Not too thick like other lip product
♫ Really cute color
♫ Lasts quite long, but need to reapply after meal
♫ Feels light, and you can totally layer the color without your lips feeling really heavy
♫ love how they label the color code, it's on the box, bottle, and there's a sticker at the bottom part of the bottle that tells the code and the expiry date too.
♫ affordable
♫ I can definitely skip my lip balm with this because it doesn't crack my lips! I do use lip sleeping mask at night before this but my lip still cracked, but with this it's almost none!

Cons:
♫ Here's the biggest one for me- It smells like Jasmine and the smell is surprisingly strong! I dislike Jasmine scent but the scent disappear after a while.
♫ It doesn't stay that long, especially if you use lip balm before applying this lip tint

Will I re-purchase?
Yes, I like the formula. But the smell.... *sigh. Luckily the scent doesn't last long.

Will I recommend this to my friends?
YES!

Till then,
Thank you for reading this entry!
