Anyway, I was really thrilled when Chanwon posted on her instagram saying she'll come to JB for Klook Roadshow. I always watch and interact with her on instagram though we never met, and I really love her blog content & pictures. Usually she'll be around KL and sometimes Penang for events but this time since she's coming to JB, so die die must come and see her!
Lucky for me that her show started at 1230 pm (Saturday) as I was working until 12pm on on Saturdays. I know, I am now waiting for the right time after I settle everything then I can give my bosses this "love letter". If they insist me staying, I won't ask for a raise, just want both Saturday and Sunday to be my off day. But if they insist on giving me a raise along with off on Saturdays, who am I to reject HAHAHA diva sangat kau ni Hani. Working on Saturdays are really tiring and I can't even go back to my hometown long enough!
See now I dare to write here because my bosses don't read my blog. But if they know, habis lah. 😂😂😂

Upon my arrival, alamak she speak mandarin and all of the audiences are Chinese hahah can I just sit? Malu sisturrr, I ni kan pemalu HAHAHA. Luckilyyy there was a malay female staff so I asked her, is it okay if I sit? because I really wanna meet the speaker. She was quite surprised to see that I know Chanwon since everyone who knows her are Chinese and she said just to sit, no need to shy shy cat. Later will get goodie bag also.
So I just hantam jelah sit and smile as if I understand what Chanwon's speaking. Luckily not long after, she saw me! And quickly ask if I can understand chinese. I shook my heads fast and she politely ask, if the other audiences are okay with her talking in English. (Thank you everyone!) Then the rest of her speech are in English.
p/s : i took photos with her but since I wanna maintain my "mystery aura" of not showing my face, not gonna post it here HAHAHAHAHA

1st booth I went is Korea. What else to expect then K-pop. I need to choose one of the 3 songs available then need to dance along. It's GG- Gee, PSY- Gangnam style and EXO- sorry can't remember haha. I didn't dance la just move my hand je, Later if my bf found out I dance in public sure kena HAHAHAHA.
2ND stop is Taiwan. Take Pictures with the lantern and post it on socmed. I posted it on Instagram in front of them, got stamp.
Moving to their 3rd, I need to play the game of memory. I don;t know the game and forgot to take pictures of it hahahaha
Last one is Japan where I have to wear Kimono, post for picture and post in on socmed account too. This one is actually the most leceh one. Because you have to wear the kimono, which is limited piece and the staff will help you to put on the "belt" using safety pin. They were really tired and sooo busy compared to another booth.
Actually there's no 1st or last booth. Just go to any booth you feel like to, but I'm telling you guys the order I went hehe
Then I present the completed stamp book to the counter, another goodie bag received! Then I play this tikam tikam thing, I got earphone case and RM5 off voucher kekeke
After Chanwon's speech, there was a quiz and the winner will get a pair of ticket to Lost World of Tambun. On my way to the road show, I keep praying that I will be super duper lucky today. So this is it! I need to answer and guess what, I was the first to win HAHAHAHA. Travel / entrance ticket free, I will never back off (talking with my eyes on fire).

I actually didn't plan on bringing anyone since I will be rushing there from work. But then since it's an event with freebies, why not just ask my friends if they want to tag along. Of course, don't hope too much la if your friends are already married. Because they got bigger responsibilities and obligations too. (Someday me too, so I have to be understanding la kan). I went blur blur after take photos with Chanwon because she's so cute and her skin is so nice (can't stop fangirling, nangis hahah!). Then I saw the enquiries counter with lots of pamphlets and I come near. Then let the staffs do their work, and she guide me on the activities and say if I can collect all stamps then I can get another goodie bag. Okay I won't lie. Living in a big city like Johor Bahru (yes, I'm living by myself. not with family) really costs me a fortune hahah! Kidding! But the living expenses here is quite high, so you must know how to save money and make the most of what you have!
So when my CC cream almost ran out, and so does my cushion, I need to restock. But sadly, Nature Republic is not available in Malaysia anymore. Not everything is available online like before, even in Hermo. I mean, some Nature Republic product is available there but it's limited and ships from overseas. Thus, it does not costs me the same! Harga mahal sikit la alamak adoi. I've been using the CC Cream for years TT ^ TT .
And the Water Cushion I bought from the face shop- nope, never gonna buy that again. It doesn't suit my skin.
Since I think using cushion is way easier than just CC cream, I decided to find a nice Cushion with a limited amount of budget! This is when I found the refill BB Mochi Cushion.
TBH, I wanna buy the normal one, not refill. But again, the price oh.... hahah! (Hey, I'm using my own money here).
It's RM 83.96 on Hermo, and yes that sounds expensive but I bought it when it was on sale so it only costs me RM 69.00! The Mochi BB cream (yes the normal one with cute casing) costs RM 136.80 so not now as I baru je nak try kot hahaha. This is totally worth it as the package consists of:
1. Clean your current Cushion case, and just throw away the sponge & Puff. By clean I mean, please wash and dry it ya. Not just wipe with tissue.
If you're already using the Mochi BB cushion case, there's a ring you need to take off at the inner cushion case before washing it.
4. Press the sponge until it fully absorb the product

You know my skin is a dry type. So, I can't really say bout the oil control part but I do wear glasses. And the annoying thing about this is when you take off your glasses and patches of the make-up you wear stuck on the nose part and you got two dots on your nose! Which, is super ugly and so not cool is you don't realize it while the others do.
It still happen with this BB Cushion, but not as terrible as the other brands I've tried.
|| HOW TO CHANGE THE CUSHION REFILL
Easy peasy!
1. Clean your current Cushion case, and just throw away the sponge & Puff. By clean I mean, please wash and dry it ya. Not just wipe with tissue.
If you're already using the Mochi BB cushion case, there's a ring you need to take off at the inner cushion case before washing it.
You can refer at the bottom of the cushion case on how to take off the inner cushion case from the main case. Which is basically just open the lid, and push the middle back side of the case.
2. Pour the BB refill to your cushion case

pour everything off!
Or, pour 3/4 at the bottom and 1/4 on top of the sponge!
3. Insert the new sponge (and put the ring back on if you're using Mochi Cushion Case)
until it become like this!
5. Put it back to it's main case and, done! New fresh BB Cushion!
|| MY REVIEW
Pros :
- Not sticky when applied
- Not heavy to the skin
- Not dry and suitable for dry skin (just please never skip toner)
- Quite long lasting for a BB cream (but doesn't last too long)
- Save money because you can use your existing case
- Comes in 2 sets and I just use 1 sponge for 2 refills haha!
- Make dull skin looks healthy
- IT'S CUTE SOMEONE HELP ME hahahaha!
Cons :
- Only got 1 shade of colour
- Doesn't fully cover blemishes, need to use concealer
- Doesn't really suit the dark skin type
- The puff- I prefer the face shop puff as it's softer and absorbs better
- patches of the make-up I wear still stuck on the nose part of the glass, even though not too much
Will I re-purchase?
Probably yes, if I didn't find the better ones with affordable price.

So I've been to this restaurant to celebrate mom's birthday. I found it on facebook and there are quite a lot good rating on the restaurant. I found bad ratings & comments too, but since the good ones are more than bad (by so many differences), so I decided to give it a go.
And I hate it.
Bad, bad experience.
I'm sharing this experience with you guys because I was so disappointed. And I would like to share so you guys who do business, especially food / restaurant business won't do the same.
|| THE EXPERIENCE
Well at first, the aunt waitress served us. And she's kind. But you know, to dine in at a restaurant when the tv which is turned on plays a serial killer story, to be exact, Dukun movie, is such a turn off. I even talked to the aunt, if she can change it to another movie since we're going to eat and it's actually rude to play some bloody human chopping movie while we're at it.
She said the tv is set to the movie, can't help us change it because she don't know the settings.
But since I already book to eat there, we just went and order what we were aiming for- shell out. I went with my mom and my younger brother & sister. So it was 4 of us. 1 kid, 1 teen. No man, and for sure, we won't eat as much as 4 adults/ 4 adult female + 1 adult male.
With that amount of people, we ordered 1 portion of Kampung shell out and 1 portion of western shell out, each with free rice and we just need to add another 2 portions of rice. My little brother wanted to eat another western meal that day but since I already told my mom that we're gonna eat shell out, we decided to order them first and see the portion. I even add siakap stim lemon too.
The portion is so big for 1 person each kampung and western set, right?
But since there are few reviews saying that the food portion in this restaurant is super generous, I began to take lotsa pictures so I can introduce them to you guys. They didn't even inform that the set comes with free drink so we order our own drink, I even order 2 glasses or water- fresh orange + air kosong. So membazir TT~TT since the portion is already that big, we didn't let my brother to order anything else. Later sure tak habis.
Western shell out

The taste of the kampung one, is so-so, while western set is quite okay. The only thing is that the seafood is not so fresh but since the price is quite cheap, only RM 19.90 per set so we didn't say much. Next time I'm gonna find somewhere else with fresher seafood. Siakap stim lemon is so-so too. nothing special.
Then comes the part when I wanna pay the bill. Total up, my bill is way so much expensive than what it was supposed to be. So I asked the cashier how do they calculate the order. So she read back my order, even tell me the 2 nasi tambah we add is foc, and everything was correct. Even their boss made fun of me saying that, "she ask you how did you calculate so tell her that you're using the cashier machine lah". I know that it was just a joke but heyyy you don't even know me. At least joke & look at me then say "haha joking!" ke, instead of making it sound like perli perli. =.='' Since my mom & sibling already waiting at the car, I just paid everything and go.
|| MY COMPLAIN
I was at home later that night, and I recheck the receipt. Guess what,.... They charged us for 4 portions. So I posted the review at their facebook page. A woman DMed me. Trying to explain the situation. she said these:
1. We cannot order 2 portion and eat for 4 person. 1 portion is for 1 person.
so, I said why no one inform us that we can't do so?
2. She said the waitress is a new staff and just worked 2 days.
ceh, now blame the waitress lah. walhal no one explain to us. chef pon memandai masak tambah our order. And I gave her example. Say I was buying 1 McDonalds burger, and share it with my friend. McDonalds can't scold me/ simply add my order because it's my right to share it with whoever I want.
3. She said, "jgnla ckp mcmtu dik, Allah, xtahu nk niaga cemana dik".
Wait, tak paham nk niaga cemana? So the correct way to meniaga is to count how many people are eating and charge them with that? Then why bother taking orders? Why don't you do buffet style? That one count kepala apa. haih..........
|| NOTES TO PEOPLE WHO ARE IN FOOD BUSINESS (and other businesses too)
1. EXPLAIN, EXPLAIN AND ALWAYS EXPLAIN!
- If we can't dine in a certain manner, please let us know. Example, We can't order 1 portion and eat for 2 people. 1 portion is only for 1 people. Please explain to us WHILE you guys are taking orders.
2. DON'T MEMANDAI
- If customer order 1, give them 1. You can give them 2 but charge them 1 only, another one as FOC. because customer order based on how much they want to eat + willing to pay.
3. BE SENSITIVE
- Music and movies played (if there is), must not contrast with your restaurant- place for people to DINE. not to enjoy horror movies, not pub also.
4. PUT YOURSELVES IN CUSTOMERS' PLACE
- Imagine going to a restaurant and being treated a certain way your staffs treated you. Being served the same thing as you sell. Do you like it?
5. BE HONEST
- Yes, we are doing business to gain income, and we got bills to pay. But please remember, food is needed daily. If people love your food, staffs and your restaurant, they'll surely come again. Think of long term profit. Not maximizing short term profit and cheat customers until no one wanna come anymore.
6. GIVE CUSTOMER WHAT THEY ORDER
- not simply change or add on their order especially if you wanna charge them additional payment
7. IF REALLY NEED TO CHANGE CUSTOMERS' ORDER, ASK THEIR PERMISSION FIRST
- Seriously what's wrong with asking? If they don't want, you can suggest them something else.
I honestly wanna do the review on this restaurant so at least people can search and find out more about the restaurant but since it turned out this way, I malas! and I'm sorry as I wont tell you which restaurant is this because I don't want people to boycott their business. I hope they will serve better, but surely as for me, I'M NOT GOING THERE ANYMORE~
Besides, If I mention the restaurant name, people will say "orang melayu jatuhkan orang melayu. Macam mana orang melayu nak maju?". LOL. So I decided to share things I thought as customers jelahhhh.
Please, please do business honestly and rightfully. Take big companies as example. If people go to ABC restaurant and order cheesy wedges, they got cheesy wedges and pay for cheesy wedges. It's up to them if they wanna share it even with 10 people. If it's not enough, they'll buy more. If they can't afford to buy more, at least they got to taste the cheesy wedges. Imagine 3 people starving, they have just enough money to buy 1 serving of cheesy wedges, but ABC didn't let them to as 3 people must eat 3 servings. The 3 people will continue being hungry, ABC Restaurant also got no sales at all sebab diorang tamak.
Get it?
p/s: suddenly remember the time my friend and I went to a restaurant. We ordered Mee Kari Udang, got Meggi Kari Udang instead. LOL.

For those who come here for the first time, welcome to my blog! So, between make up and skincare, which one do you prefer? FYI, skincare is my obsession. Seriously, I'm not a big fan of make up thing but I'm obsessed with skincare.
And here's why. Make up is temporary. Yes, you can cover up all your skin blemishes in a blink of an eye, but they can be visible again once you remove your makeup! I love watching Kdramas and of course, I envy their skin soooo much. Even the guys / sidekick actors/ ahjusshis have a really nice skin! Besides, if your skin is in a great condition, wearing make up is a bonus because you don't have to cover sooo much, and the make up can blend in so well too!
Back to the skincare story. Did you know that you need to exfoliate your skin at least once a week? I haven't been able to do so as I suffer from dry skin and it's hard to find me a face scrub that doesn't make my skin condition worse. So you can guess how I was feeling when I receive the package from St Ives Malaysia, right? kekeke~
|| MY FIRST IMPRESSION & MY SKIN TYPE
I was very surprised when I receive the parcel. Like, hey it's not my birthday yet and I didn't order anything!
It came in a cute wooden box, and it smells really good. Yes, the box and everything inside it smells like apricot, in a really pleasant way. I was so happy but kinda afraid at the same time. Why? because it's a face scrub! I tried so many face scrub and most of them left my skin dry I ended up using them to scrub my feet HAHAHAH. I already suffer from a dry skin and most scrub just make it worst.
I even use the facial cleanser especially formulated for dry skin (you can read it HERE), which produce no foam and made especially for dry skin or else my skin will be flaky, and dry as if it's the desert! As for weekly routine, I sometimes use clay mask, sheet masks and egg masks. But my friend said that St. Ives is a really good brand, and she got a few types of St. Ives scrub at home too. I know her skin type and I can see how her skin gets better every time we met, so yeah, time to give it a try!
