Okayyy finally, a lip product! I actually receive this lip treatment from Chanwon as I won #Chanwondotcom yearly giveaway! (love you, Chanwon!). This lip treatment balm is seriously so good that I need to make a review on this!
|| FIRST IMPRESSIONS (and some tips for dry lips)
Truth is, besides dry skin, my lips are super dry too. And, I kinda always kopek the dried patches and yep, my lips will bleed. Even my husband forward an article of "what not to do when you have dry lips". HAHAH!
The lip treatment is super soft, and a little goes a long way. Trust me. I never put it on my lips the way people usually wear lipstick. I just dap it on and use my fingers to spread it all over my lips. The color, even though it's pink (I dislike pink lip color. prefer coral or red, reriously), it looks great!
Tips for dry lips :
➨ Drink lots of water
➨ Don't lick your lips, it'll get dryer
➨ Don't pick your dry lips! Instead, put on lip balm to soften the flakes and then take it off when its soft enough
➨ Put on lip treatment/ balm before you apply your lipstick, especially matte lip products
➨ Exfoliate. Use sugar + honey or just use wet towel. I just use wet towel and to do this, make sure that your lips has been moist for a long time. I usually do this after I take a bath.
|| THE LIP TREATMENT
Okay this might look like just another lip balm but trust me, it's not. It's a tinted lip treatment balm and I really love this! It moisturizes, tinted and treat dry lips really well.
Mine's a gift, maybe that's why it's small. but the one sold online is as huge as normal lipstick
My worst nightmare when it comes to dry lips happened when I was experiencing my first winter in South Korea. I only bring my normal lip balm, which I thought was enough. But my lips turned reaaaallly dry and it even bleeds.
This doesn't happen in Malaysia since we don't have winter here, but I work in an air-conditioned office so my lips tend to be dry a lot faster than usual.
Sometimes I apply this lip treatment before I sleep and I woke up with really moisturized (and pink) lips the next morning. Feeling baby face sangat kahkah~

The product I have doesn't state the ingredients on the packaging. But it do state that this lip treatment contains SPF15. So here's the ingredients from FRESH website:

Cons
♫ The price is quite expensive (you can get a lot of Vaseline with this)
♫ The balm stick kinda melts a bit if it's in hot weather. Seriously.
Will I re-purchase?
Maybe if I have extra $$$, and found nothing cheaper that works as great

Okay putting acid on the skin is not necessarily bad as it was like in the dramas. like the one when your enemy (lol) hire some bad guys to splash acid on your face thing so you become ugly. Drama sangat haha!
The key is to know what type of acid you put on your skin, how many of it to put on your skin, how many times should you apply it and how to use it.
Actually I've been delaying to post this since forever! I tried to take pictures of this Benton toner but I just move in with my husband and my photoshoot props are all left at my kampung tsk tsk.

So for food recommendation here at Lombok and Gili Air, honestly we didn't try out too many restaurant (due to our budget) kekeke. The one we went at Lombok were the ones recommended by Mas Wira, our travel guide.
P/s : this time, we don't travel to eat, we travel to relax and eat to survive, which explains why we went around to find the best deals for our food! hahah!

Alhamdulillah. I've been super busy for the past months because of the wedding preparation haha! Okay trust me, the workload at the office is already killing and then I must handle the wedding preparation too, can you imagine?
Penat tahap pantang letak kepala atas meja/ bantal terus lelap tau!
So, we choose Lombok for our Honeymoon destination for these reasons:
1. Budget -Indonesian currency is smaller than Malaysian, so yeah! Besides, Indonesia has a variety of islands!
2. Island- we just wanna chill & relax this time as we're super tired preparing the wedding + workload from the office haha
We use travel agent for some of our activities and transport as Lombok Airport is quite far from Gili Islands.
