Laneige Neo Cushion comes in 2 types which are Matte (mint) and Glow (pink). The Matte line is for those who love matte finish (not shiny / glowy look) and it is said to be extremely long lasting while the Glow line is for those who loves dewy glowing finish and it is really hydrating. 

As I always mentioned, I have a very dry skin so logically, I'd take the Glow line kan but I decided to purchase the Matte one after I tried the samples I got from their counter. I happen to buy something and ask the sales girl for the sample as I really wanna wear it out before grabbing it (lol it's not cheap! I can't just try it on my hands and assume it's good haha!) and I tried 2 shades which are 21N Beige and 23N Sand. Both are suitable with my skin but I choose to go with 23N Sand.

I choose matte because I live in Malaysia where the weather's almost too hot daily. I think matte will be good as I will be sweating and my skincare are all hydrating so I kinda don't want my cushion to be super hydrating.  But if I were to go on atumn / winter trips, I'd definitely use the hydration Glow line as my skin needs more in that kind of weather. And guess what, even the Matte line is hydrating enough I am so impressed!

||          FIRST IMPRESSIONS                    

How can i not scream when i unbox this thing? It's too cute and it's totally my style! I bought this cushion during promotion and it comes with 1 free refill. Pay attention to the ongoing sales on different platforms to save more money kekekeke~

Everything comes as advertised and it feels really nice to hold too. Since my previous cushion casings are all rounded shape, the seamless square shape of this Neo Cushion is suprisingly nice to hold. The thickness of the case is just nice and not too thick.

You can only see your foundation code on the bottom of the refill cushion, not outside of the cushion case like other cushions. But I kinda like it as it keeps the casing looks simple and if you wanna change your cushion shade, just buy the new shade refill and no problem with the casing since the info is not on the casing.

||          TEXTURE AND HOW TO USE                    

As mentioned before, the texture is light and it's buildable too. This cushion is lighter than my previous cushions including Klairs BB Mochi Cushion (click HERE to read my review). Here's what I can sum up regarding the cushion foundation:

 ✨ Texture : Light, it doesn't makes my skin feel suffocated 

✨ Colors : My shade 23N Sand - enhances my skin color & no grey undertone 

✨ Scent : floral I guess, but it's very very light and disappear after you put in on

✨ Buildable : Buildable and won't look cakey

✨ Cushion casing : simple but high quality

✨ Cushion puff : comes with cut marks, very easy to apply, soft  and spread products evenly.

It's very easy to use:

1.    After washing your face, put on your skincare & sunscreen - apply a small amount by dabbing it to your face. Don't rub your face, dabbing gives it better coverage and it'll stay longer too.

2.    If you need higher coverage, re-apply a thin layer again until you are satisfied with the result.

Don't apply too much foundation on your face at a time as ony a small amount is needed. Jangan pakai sekaligus terus banyak la senang cerita, apply sikit, then if rasa nak cover lagi, apply lagi sekali okay?

It's also very easy to change the refills!

Pros:

     ✔ Lightweight

     ✔ Transfer resistant is quite good even worn from morning until night

     ✔ Buidable but still look natural and won't look cakey

bear in mind that my skin type is dry ya!

||     TRUTH ABOUT EYE CREAM                    

Okay here's the TRUTH about eye cream- It won't erase your dark circle and eye bags completely. Yes, you read that right. Eye cream can help reduce your eye area problems and improve skin around your eyes which includes dark circles, eye bags, fine lines and wrinkles, but the result is temporary- Just like other skincare. So if you expect them to erase your dark circle completely - Forget it. It won't. 

Puffy eyes can be reduced with eye cream only if it contains caffeine as caffeine constricts the blood vessel around your eyes, but again- it's only temporary not permanently. So if you have eye bags around your eyes, find the eye cream that contain caffeine.

To banish dark circles and eye bags completely, you need to do some cosmetics procedures with the doctor (peels, lasers, injections). I will not do that for sure because it's under eye area and I always imagine something bad especially the injection procedures hahah! I bayangkan the doctor inject something for my dark circle tapi tercucuk your eyeballs lepastu buta. HAHA! I know that won't happen but I still find it scary because it's too close to the eyes.

Eye bags and dark circles aside, eye cream are actually the best solution to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Eye area is very sensitive and the skin around the eyes are very thin and delicate so not everything you put on your face is good for the eyes. For example, AHA and BHA are a type of acid use to exfoliate your skin and it's best to leave it out of your eye area as it will irritate the skin and will make your eye conditions worst. I personally use eye cream due to this, as my toner contains BHA but I still refuse to switch to other toner because it's literally the best toner I've ever use! Click HERE to read on my BHA toner.

So basically, eye cream is a type of moisturizer formulated specifically to hydrate and improve the eye area which is very fragile. 

||     COSRX ADVANCED SNAIL PEPTIDE EYE CREAM                    

Honestly, I hate snail. I f*ing hate them and they're gross but almost every skincare that I love contains snail mucin as it's one of the ingredients that works great for dry skin (mine). Why... haha! 

COSRX is a Korean brand and I tried so many products by them and I think it's one of the brand that you can turn to if you wanna try new skincare. While some products might not suite your skin, at least it doesnt turn your skin worst and the products are quite gentle (I mentioned in my COSRX Sunblock review that they use minimal ingredients). So far, i really think the brand is good and worth my money.

This eye cream contains 72% snail secretion filtrate and snail secretion is known to be great for hydrating your skin. This eye cream also contains 5 types of peptides and Niacinamide which will help lighten the dark circle area. Here's a tip on finding a good eye cream : make sure it contains Humectants (Hyaluronic acid & Glycerin), Peptides (Great for reducing wrinkles and fine lines), and Occlusives (mineral oil). 

I saw COSRX brand at Watsons but I'm not really sure whether the eye cream are available at Watson's stores. But you can get it from Hermo @ RM107.90 or get it waaay cheaper at their COSRX Shopee Official Store using coins and vouchers hehe. And buy them during sales!

Another food review! We prefer to eat at home nowadays as the current condition of Covid-19 and too many scary saman if we don't follow SOP 😅  The rules are not that hard to follow but the penalty if you're caught not following the SOPs is super scary. But sometimes nak juga makan kat luar kan hahah

We saw Sukiya restaurant for quite a few times as it is located nearby the elevator and we've been wanting to try it out ever since. We finally decide to try it out for real this time since there's too much videos of Japanese Curry & Chicken Katsu appear on our social media lol. 

||     THE RESTAURANT                    

Sukiya is a restaurant serving Japanese food. Please don't confused SUKIYA with SUKI-YA (haha nama sama!) as Sukiya serves Noodles and Rice bowls while Suki-ya serves hot pot menu. I am not sure about Suki-ya restaurant, so let's get back to SUKIYA Tokyo Bowls and Noodles!

||     THE MENU                    

The menu is straightforward, you get what you ordered lepastu makan ajelah. There's no step or having to go to the food counter what so ever as they are not buffet / customised.

First thing you'll realize when browsing through their menu is that the menu is cheaper than Sushi King punya rice bowls but this restaurant does not serve sushi. There are plenty types of rice bowls and ramen available and sometimes they come out with seasonal menus too.

However, the menu available on their website is not as complete as at the stores. But you get theidea of what they're serving or on what to order from the menu on their website. Click HERE to view the menu. 

Their Menu includes Gyudon, Yakiniku Don, Chicken Don, Cury Rice, Ramen, Unagi Don, Rice set, Combo set, kids set and a-la carte set. They also have bubble milk tea but we didn't order that as I think it'd be too much (wait till you see what we ordered).

||     THE FOOD                    

Okay here's what we ordered :

1. Yakiniku Don with Teriyaki Mackerel Zen RM26.90

2. Teriyaki Ontama Don with Karaage RM24.70

3. Hot Green Tea RM 2.90

4. Iced Green Tea RM2.90 

and as if that's not enough, we add :

1. Una Sara (Eel) RM26.00

2. Mini Ontama Curry Rice RM5.80 (since we wanna try Japanese Curry lol)

Luckily my husband was really hungry he finished 2 bowls of rice cemtu je. hahah! The set includes Chawanmushi (Japanese Steamed Egg Custard) but it arrived later. I forgot to tell the waiter not to prepare it as I don't fancy the taste of chawanmushi and won't eat it 😅

Their Una Sara (Eel) taste okay but not as fresh as a Korean Restaurant I went before PKP (and the price at the Korean Restaurant pon 3x more expensive, so no complain). It's a little dry but still good. Plus, we really have nothing much to complain as the price is affordable!

And... I baru perasan I tak up pon review pasal that Korean restaurant since I didn't take much photos haha. Doakan kami dilimpahkan rezeki so boleh pergi lagi & write review, amin!

Yakiniku!

This is my first time eating Yakiniku. I first found out about Yakiniku on Hanis Zalikha's instagram story where she share the recipe. I actually thought that she was being playful by naming the food Yakini ku, which like, Yakinilah diriku ini, but wow I was wrong haha~ Yakiniku tastes not bad, it's a whole new thing for my taste bud and I think I like it.

And I think their miso soup tastes nice tapi cair sangat, kalau pekat sikit confirm sedap gila. 

||     HALAL STATUS                    

The restaurant chain is Halal-Certified since 2014 and here are their Jakim Halal Ref number if you wanna check:

Workers at Paradigm mall JB Branch are Muslim too (both kitchen staffs and waiter).

||     OUR REVIEW                    

This is our Honest review, and I am sorry if our taste doesn't suit yours or you rasa okay je tapi we all complain lelebih ke sebab semua orang taste tak sama, kegemaran tak sama. I geram betul bila orang suruh I review then bila I give my review (contohnya, ada dulu I cakap certain restaurant biasa je takla macam hebat seperti yang divaralkan), tiba2 orang cakap "sedap je I makan, okay je takde pon tak sedap". U did ask for MY review, MY opinion kan? Jangan la mintak review pastu kondem pulak bila org dah bagi review. hahah sis emo. 

Tapi for your reference la, usually bila I cakap sedap tu InsyaAllah memang sedap. Kalau tak sedap, mungkin kedai dah tukar tukang masak kot 😂😂😂 (tiber).

🌟 4.0 for food- makanan dia taklah sedap gila, tapi bukan tak sedap. Not bad la orang kata.

So I have been using this Face Petal for months and these pictures was taken weeks ago but I takde mood nak tulis or edit. (direct, takde into lain dah yang boleh explain why i still haven't post any review on this haha!)

In terms of cleansing, I usually just use cleansing products with my bare hand. I used to use Konjac Sponge and it's not that durable for me. One Konjac Sponge last me two weeks tops, it usually barai in 1 week even if i handle it like a baby. So I stopped using them for the sake of my wallet's health haha.

Honestly, I bought Face Petal to support my friend's business but you know, I ended up loving it!

||     FACE PETAL                

Face petal is actually a microfibre make up remover that requires only water to remove your makeup including mascara, foundation, eyeliner, etc. You really dont have to use it with makeup remover or micellar water, just wet it a little bit and wipe your makeup off.

As for me, I still use it with micellar water just to make sure that my makeup is 100% clean but you can use only water with Face Petal!

The price is just RM27 per piece and you can buy a set of it which consists 3 Face Petals for only RM59.90. I bought the set because honestly, it was cheaper and free postage too HAHA!

||     FIRST IMPRESSIONS                

My first impressions of this product is- I love how smooth the texture of the microfibre cloth and not to mention it's cute too. For packaging, I like how they're packed in a resealable plastic bag so if I wanna use one, I can keep the others in the original plastic without worrying it might be dirty or terbukak and stuffs.

These Face Petals doesn't have special smell or weird features but the label attached to it can be used to hang the cloth so it dries better. 

||     TEXTURE AND HOW TO USE                

Texture of the Face Petal is smooth, and as adorable as it looks. It's super easy to use :

1. Wet your Face Petal with water

2. Gently massage your dry face (with makeup on)

3. See how magically the makeup has been removed with just that!

4. For waterproof mascara, hold your Face Petals at your eyes for a few seconds before gently massage.

If you're not confident with using just water, or you wanna be more sure, you can use it with micellar water. I personally use it with micellar water and I don't have to massage my face that much to remove away all the makeups. 

And oh, extra tips. wet your lips with water, proceed removing your face makeup and by the time you're done with your face- your lips are ready to exfoliate! just massage your lips with face petal and since it's already wet, it's super easy to remove the dead skin from your lips. I honestly stop using lip scrub because this is great enough. #JimatBerapaKaliDah wakaka

One face petal can be used for up to 200x, but it is recommended to change them every 3 to 6 months for hygiene purposes. So if you buy a set of 3, compare it with your usual spending on cotton pads. Amacam? Jimat kan?

- Wash after each use

- Wash with water only or facial foam 

- Hang to dry after each use

2. Dont's 

- Dont wash with other soaps (the texture of the microfibre cloth will be hard)

First post in 2021 and it's MCO again here in Johor but honestly, I'm relieved it's MCO again. Covid-19 cases rises like hell but people still go on vacation without following guidelines and SOP. so now that all of us have to stay home, it feels safer even though it's kinda boring haha!

Back to the post - 

Who didn't love a clean house? I ni nasib baik je rabun & tak suka pakai spec kat rumah or else I don't know how many times i will be stressed over those dust and hairs on the floor. Even with limited vision pon I already start having headache seing them dust because I cook on a daily basis (i hate eating outside food daily. sometimes is ok, daily is a big NO). So imagine, after coming home from my office job, I have to prep for the meals and cook and clean the kitchen daily so by the time i get myself to the living room, I'm already exhausted.

My husband helps me with house chores (thank God!) but we're not "very the rajin" types of people who will sweep the floor daily lol. We're busy bosses haha! So we decided to get a cheap vacuum robot - the little helper who will not seduce your husband haha!

||     THE VACUUM CLEANER          

Honestly, no one like to waste money and if anything, we all want something of high quality and can be used for a very long time. This is not that haha! This is the Ninja 3 in 1 vacuum robot, as it Sweep, Vacuum and can be used to mop the floor too. 

Of course, don't believe the mop part as it's just stacking a piece of cloth under the vacuum haha!

We got this from SHOPEE and it costs us RM61.90 (we got this a month ago and it seems like they're on promotion now for RM58 only). We didn't expect anything much and I will be giving you my honest, honest opinion on this vacuum. Bear in mind that this is my first time reviewing electronic stuffs 😂

||     WHY WE CHOOSE THIS ONE          

First reason first, it's cheap. HAHA. very honest la this woman. 

Okay actually there are plenty of other cheaper vacuum but we choose this one based on the review on Shopee and it sound promising. Of course, there are complains too but usually those who complains are the ones who expect this cheap thing to function like some RM1k robot vacuum.

Yeorobeun, don't put your expectation too high. This thing is super cheap and it won't move on your rug. We still don't have any big rug at home as we are trying to keep it minimal and we are actually moving by the end of this year so nanti-nanti dulu lah. We tried to put this thing on the dormats and yup, it won't move haha~

But as our aim is to keep our home dust-free and make it easier to clean on weekends when we're free, we still choose to purchase this because the reviews says that it's great for small dust and hairs. 

And we choose this one as the seller is really responsible. If there's any complain, the seller sure reply very fast and explain stuffs, unlike some seller who just ignore the complains and can't be reached after the sale has been made.

||     WHAT'S IN THE BOX          

The packaging is quite good for something this cheap. You'll get:

    1. A vacuum

    2. A piece of cloth (the "mop" thing)

    3. Usb charger, without the plug. But this fits into your phone's head charger.

    4. Manual

    5. Screw driver

Okay for a cheap vacuum, this is not bad at all. 

Pros :

🧹 Okay la for sucking small dirts

🧹 Last quite long if the battery is full

🧹 Quite silent considering it's cheap

🧹 Doesn't take too long to charge

Cons : 

🧹 Can't move on rug, just great on floor

🧹 Can't suck huge dirts and heavy grimes

🧹 It sometimes skip some part of your house and keep rotating at the same area. So end up masa mula2 pasang, we kinda guide this vacuum with our leg haha! (Since it'll stop and turn the other way if it hits something). But lepas dia clean up area yang kotor tu, just let it play around the house sampai bateri habis. settle!

Will I repurchase?

Nope, I want a better robot vacuum in the future 

Will I recommend this to my friends?

Nope, invest sikit buy the better one please haha

I honestly don't know how long will this vacuum last so i will put a note down here one day when it's broken. So far, we used it for 1 month and it seems to be doing good except the part where it just wonders around and we kinda follow it to guide it to clean certain area before letting it wonder around just to make sure an area is clean haha! 

But on the other hand, this vacuum actually helps us a lot in terms of cleaning dust on the floor and me is happy with less sweeping!

****UPDATE : It's September (bought this on January), the vacuum can still sucks small habuk & stuffs but it keeps circling at the same place. I even unscrew the wheels and all, still circling at 1 place. 

My answer is still the same, invest sikit buy the better one please hahaha! But i do enjoy having this vacuum in the house sebab nak beli xiaomi is quite expensive and I don't have any rugs yet. But we got ourselves a new vacuum and I will write review on it soon!
