DUBUYO URBAN KOREAN FOOD | REVIEW

Assalamualaikum and finally another food review!

I seldom write something personal here. Well, maybe next time. Let's focus to fooooooddd!

Disclaimer : I paid for the food using my own money, and not sponsored by anyone, not even Dubuyo. So, all my reviews are honest. But please take note that people do have different taste in food.

Beef Soondubu Jiggae 

this was our first Dubuyo meal!

P/s : taugeh dia tak sama macam taugeh Korea. TT_TT

||     THE RESTAURANT        

So this is my second time at Dubuyo. The first one was at Paradigm mall Johor Bahru, and this tine we went to Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru.

The seating in Dubuyo Paradigm mall is like, more open, while the one's in Mid Valley Southkey is not. I kinda prefer the one in Mid Valley Southkey as I don't really fancy eating while being watched by people walking by hahah!

This restaurant differs from Kfry as this one includes main meal in the menu. Like Jajangmyeon, Soondobu Jiggae, Bulgogi, while Kfry didn't have a lot of Rice in their menu.

The ambience is nice, and the staffs are welcoming too.

||     THE MENU          

I didn't snap the menu as I was super hungry and the queue was super long as I went there on Labor day and the mall just open recently so a loooot of people came to see what's there. And EVERY kedai makan also penuh and beratur Panjang I tell you hahah!

||     THE FOOD          

Honestly, this is the place to go if I'm craving for some Korean soupy dishes. The soondobu jjigae is amazing. But FYI, I think the taste has been adjusted a little to match Malaysian tastebud. But it's still tasty.

The rice served is purple in color and it's kinda sticky. So you don't need to struggle like hell to eat rice using chopstick haha! kalau nasi Malaysia jenuh guna chopstick.

Seaweed soup, side dish & dessert in the bowl (like taufu fah, and it's sweet)

Korean Spicy Wings

We ordered All-day set meal for 2, and yes 2 kali pergi also order the same set, but we ordered seafood Soondobu Jigae for our first time and this time we ordered Beef Soondobu Jigae.

||     THE SERVICE          

The staffs are helpful and fast too. even though there were a lot of people and the queue was long, we still didn't wait for so long at Mid Valley. While at paradigm, we came quite late so there were some menu they can't prepare and we also didn't get dessert as it was out of stock TT_TT

I think there's nothing much to complain about the service.

||    THE REVIEW          

Honestly, I love the soondobu jjigae, be it seafood or beef. But if you're craving for Korean Fried chicken, just go to Kfry as their fried chicken is better.

So, here's my honest review:
⭐ 4.5 overall
⭐ 4.0 for food (would've give more star if the fried chicken is better haha)
⭐ 3.0 for the layanan at Paradigm, and 4.0 at Mid Valley Southkey
⭐ 4.2 for the ambience, clean for both Dubuyo I went to
⭐ love the varieties of the menu

will I come again : Of course, I want to eat jajangmyun pulak next time and try some other dishes. But if i'm craving for K-fried chicken, this is not the place.
